Yes, But as I've made 2 dud's so far, I'm willing to miss out on the "satisfaction" value because even if number 3 worked flawlessly, 1 and 2 already took hold of the "I made that" satisfaction and sh4t all over it. I'm feeling a much bigger draw to the "Buy it now" button style instant retail gratification (Like I just did. :blushing: )........ Now I feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
I'd still like to know what went wrong with my attempt though. It's bugging me that a simple 2 hour project lost me most of a weekend, And all I came out the other side with was nothing more than a pretty paperweight.
I wouldn't have minded the lost weekend if I learnt something constructive. :Sulk:

Alternatively, We could take the two I've built and play conkers with them. You up for that Rabster? :tongue_smilie:
I wish I had a breadboard I could have build it on first and test everything worked OK. At least that way I would know if it was a dodgy component (I did have to rob 2 of the small capacitors off the original board) or if it was something I did in assembly.

How easy are these to fit, where do they connect to, and if you arm the car twice (hit the lock button a 2nd time in 1-2 secs) will it still close the mirrors?

As to where to connect them, If you go to "This link" and download the PDF file, It gives quite detailed wiring instructions.

What you're failing to notice is that it looks like most of the people who tried it succeeded.
I, on the other hand, am the sort of inept plank who while trying to build mine, didn't wait long enough for my gas powered soldering iron to cool down before refilling it. I managed to remove most of the hair from the back my right hand in the ensuing small fireball.
You dont want to rate the difficalty of this project against the problems someone like me had. :tongue_smilie:
