Do the door switch buttons work when the car is off no acc etc as this would have an impact ?
Same goes for when the car is locked as you don't want the buttons live or you could make the car vunerable to thiefs ?

Well connecting to the door switch does lock it, but as you say leaves the buttons operating and doesnt initiate the alarm so onto the next step.

Im talking about connecting to the driver door switches.
when you lock with the key fob the unlock button stops working (though the lock still does stranglely)

hi all got immobiliser working but hooked up the central locking as u described andrew but to no avail i could hear relays switching but no door locking i got to drive back to camp so ill have a go nxt weekend

Did you cut the tracks on the existing board in the car ?
Did you connect a wire in replacement of the tracks you cut or removed and test the standard dock lock system ?

I broke the tracks and soldered wires on to the tracks and checked continuity and all was ok i then tested for the pulses and connected the wires as u described i could hear relays switching in the aftermarket alarm but no movement of locks. The immobliser part works great i have to push the unlock button on aftermarket fob to start.
