So if they do another car the same as your one Steve will they have a set price and turnaround time ??

You have to think that maybe this kind of work takes up too much time when Steve can make more money on other more striaght forward mechinic jobs.
Also with the hours that this has taken can he find enough customers to make it at a price that people can afford to pay.
It is a question of Hourly rate = what people can afford.
As i am sure Steve and other mechinic love to do jobs like this but there is not enough money to make it worth while.
Only my thoughts...

Thats is a good point Ian , but you also have to think it is steady work for them if they have not got a lot of other business in at the time , something to fall back on when other jobs are thin on the ground. Better some work that make a bit of a profit than having men standing about doing nothing. But it is their garage so they know what is best for them

Gord Steve said he would only do one again if ALL the parts was got, he did not mind fitting a complete kit, and i mean COMPLETE KIT

If anyone;s wanting an engine conversion of any size and shape, or Turboing then i really can't recommend Silverline Racing who did mine highly enough!
