Project T-Sport... - Carpediem - 05-05-2019 cheers bud, theres alot of trim to do so may just buy a cheapo small pack and give it a bash, do you have to use a hair dryer though? would warm water not work also the same as when you apply stickers to car bodywork? Project T-Sport... - newdriftking - 05-05-2019 it's not a waterslide decal, it is actually sticky back plastic (basically) I've found a Hairdryer works best, as it makes the wrap supple, and if you get it wrong you can just peel it back of and re-apply. What I did was I bought 2 A4 sheets for about £3 each. Then once I was happy with how it looked, I bought a roll. Start small first, just to test it.. But it does work better with using heat to apply it.. Check Youtube for some videos of what can be achieved with it.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vxpq_32XPz0&playnext=1&list=PL1F2FE2895665ED8B http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3SJRPha9J0&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Odw8ZQD0gHk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MACyXJ7jM_c&feature=related Project T-Sport... - Carpediem - 05-05-2019 ah good skill, will pick some up on pay day
Project T-Sport... - newdriftking - 05-05-2019 if you need any advice just PM me... Project T-Sport... - newdriftking - 10-05-2019 Well installed the LED sidelights (what a PITA that was) had to get my brother-in-law with girly thin hands to do drivers side!! I'm after a bit of guidance for installing the HiD's without bumper removal..... Do I need to cut into the protective cover that covers the rear of the lights? Project T-Sport... - Phil01 - 10-05-2019 yes mate, cut a hole in the square plastic cover and a rubber grommet should be attached to the hid loom, pass the wires and grommet thro the cut out hole Project T-Sport... - newdriftking - 11-06-2019 Hi guys, managed to finally get the HiD's fitted (yes Anees at last!!!) What I need to know is it easy/possible to remove the spolier from my car? I have a plan  Project T-Sport... - reidy - 11-06-2019 To my knowledge the spoiler is bonded on, no idea as to the difficulty of removing but my guess would be hard! Project T-Sport... - Phil01 - 11-06-2019 I have heard it is semi bonded on as well as nuts, and is a right PITA to do without damage. Project T-Sport... - newdriftking - 12-06-2019 Looks like I'll have to re-think my plan then!! Cheers guys.. |
