Jimbobs Lexus IS200 Turbo! - Jimbob-T-Lex - 06-04-2021 I don't get the ratio lol not really done this before Jimbobs Lexus IS200 Turbo! - Jimbob-T-Lex - 06-04-2021 so basically all my pistons rings are shall we say ******!!! then as im getting the impression that 150 is a minimum and should be at 180 PSI?? Jimbobs Lexus IS200 Turbo! - Sparkystav - 06-04-2021 Doesnt have to be 180 mate as long as they're similar. Not sure how rings would go so quickly?! Jimbobs Lexus IS200 Turbo! - Jimbob-T-Lex - 06-04-2021 Thats what i thought mate but im still getting smoke from my breather and dip stick so that indicates a blow through! was not sure if maybe my timing was out but i checked that god knows how many times lol Jimbobs Lexus IS200 Turbo! - Jimbob-T-Lex - 06-04-2021 ill do a wet test and see what happens to the compression i guess try and pin point the problem Jimbobs Lexus IS200 Turbo! - Jimbob-T-Lex - 06-04-2021 wet test results: Cylinder 1. 156 Cylinder 2. 148 Cylinder 3. 150 Cylinder 4. 159 Cylinder 5. 133 Cylinder 6. 176 Jimbobs Lexus IS200 Turbo! - ZAIS200 - 06-04-2021 Is this due to using the ring you did or another reason? What is the solution otherwise? Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2 Jimbobs Lexus IS200 Turbo! - Jimbob-T-Lex - 06-04-2021 no i dont think so but the solution is beyond me at present i done the wet test and its not too bad i need to get a leak down test done really Jimbobs Lexus IS200 Turbo! - ZAIS200 - 06-04-2021 Aah right, will be interesting to see what the results are Let us know ok... Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2 Jimbobs Lexus IS200 Turbo! - Jimbob-T-Lex - 07-04-2021 Right this morning i noticed that there was water from the exhaust so checked my coolant and she is low so could be head gasket is letting water into cylinder My oil is good no milkyness which is good My thinking is if water got into my cylinder could this of done my rings in so that i would get blow by as i get smoke from the dipstick? So basically what im thinking is the whole lot has got to be stripped right down and the head gasket has to be replaced, rings need replacing the worst outcome it could of ever been!!!:Chair: All i all 4 steps forward 48 back ![]() Oh and to top it off the alternator has give up this morning volts just drop off and she dies lol when it rains it pours!!! |
