no luck so far, been out there tonight with the laptop looking at things and still nothing, though doesnt seem quite as bad, seems more predictable now rather than random misfires so im getting there lol

Check all earths for coil packs and injectors. I don't know if they all run back into the ecu and it has a main earth on the ecu. Is the ecu body grounded? If not you may need to check resistances between ecu and all coils and injectors, make sure the wiring is equal for all cylinders

Ive checked all the resistances back to the ecu from the injectors and ignitors. As well as back to earth on the ignitors. checked 12v to all injectors and ignitors as well.
all are ok

right well had a lad round tonight to help diagnose a bit more.
when i first started the car it would hunt on idle, i assumed that was just a feature of the new bits and would be mapped out. However talking tonight, that could of been a symptom of the air leaks.
This in turn could of caused the plugs to foul, which knackered the plugs.
tonight we gave the plugs a proper clean with carb cleaner, wire brush, and some heat. It then started better and wasnt as bad but not great.
so im going to get a new set of plugs and with all the leaks fixed it might work.
if not after that i will go insane!
