Started today! Looking forward to some great racing through the year, with heavy support from the Japanese manufacturers again. After returning to BTCC last year it will be good to see Toyota rising through the ranks with the Ginetta and Speedworks-backed Avensis. Unlikely they can take on the Hondas if their new 2012 car performs like last years, but anything can happen!
Tune in all day on ITV4 for plenty of this...

6 hours of motor sport, i had food and tea delivered to the sofa, although i had to get up to use the loo !
Shame the Avensis cars crashed and that oil spill caused a bit of excitement. I live close to Brands so could have gone and watched it live but it was a bit chilly at home Bromley,so Brands would have been ****** freezing.

Fortunately I'm within walking distance (if you like a long walk lol) of Silverstone and Rockingham is a quick drive away so I try to go to those BTCC events every year... Rockingham can get ****** cold though because it's just a big open bowl!!

I attend every race around the country via my comfy sofa and 42" plasma, im also accompanied by tea free food and gas central heating, just in case the weather turns lol....

The schedule has been thrown out a bit by the weather but the (current) race times are 11:45, 14:25 and 17:15
Dynojet Toyota qualified 3rd for the 1st race

Final day of the championship today at Brands Hatch... 2/3 chance of a Japanese manufacturer winning!
1st race is a wet race with Onslow-Cole on pole.

Thats it: great race, great season - worthy champion.
Will hang about to see the 3rd race anyway it should be a good one.

Agreed, I'm expecting carnage... Although it's not like the MG guys didn't provide enough of that in the 2nd race!
