The below picture shows this on a car, not mine but my bonnet was similar.

Was given a tester from local car valet place of '3M holographic remover', which is applied after a wash and prior to, for example, autoglym super resin polish (which is what I use)
Anyone else used this, I think it works okay but really needs a machine to get the most out of it I reckon?!
My bonnet was pretty bad (in certain lights) following the previous owners use of the car wash and my attempt with a paint renovator, seems to have come up okay, need to have another go with a depp shine polish then wax I think?

Time will tell how long it stays like that, with the English weather who knows
However the polish should seal the holographic remover in so should retain the swirl freeness, then I shall re-polish it finally tomorrow with the 'ultra deep shine' (good for dark colours) then seal it all in with Autoglym HD Wax.
This should last about 2-3 months of free polish/waxing - Just wash, chamois, then buff it with a polishing cloth to retain the shine :thumbup1:
I must admit I do have a bit of a problem - I love cleaning cars :lol: Luckily though as white wheels are a nightmare, have to clean them everyother day!! especially with the OEM brake pads.

On the same subject, a while back a guy at Detailing World did a comparative test, with pictures, of how several different products fared for swirl mark removal. Check it out here.

I was looking on this site for a while but didn't find this thread so thanks Steve I have had results from the Autoglym SRP but not like him, think I'll have to have another hit with it, bring on the Arnie Biceps :lol:

They are for sure Dan, bought a good wheel brush for £1.99 from Tesco which reaches nicely between the spokes and into the inside rim, luckily work has car washing facilities or I'm outside my house with a bucket
