Hi guys iv just won a 7"satnav unit for my IS and im waiting for my 7"satnav to arrive so i can do the install my question is is there a how too for dummys, iv checked rabsters build and loads of others, i know the question has been asked a gazzillion time but i cant find an install for dummys ie a walk through, any help would be appreciated as im not very good with electrics. thanks.

Yeh it's not very clear soz, I want to fit a 7" satnav screen, I am not very good with that type of work but I want to give it a go. Thanks paddy

Hi,if you are thinking of just retro fitting a Lexus OEM sat nav into a non sat nav car am sorry but you are waiting your time.If however you want to modify the sat nav housing and screen and use it in another way it is possible,hope this helps

Basically rabster, he's got the 7" pop up housing and a 7" sat unit to replace the standard screen, we just need to wire it up so it pops up with the ignition and what not

Stav's been doing stuff like that for a while - putting Sony satnavs into the OEM housing for example... He'd probably have a fair few ideas what you need to do it
