MP3/WMA ripping - jomo - 28-03-2020 Having installed my new mp3/wma player stereo, im looking for a way to rip cd's that are continuous/gap-less so that they play continuous/gap-less off a cd? Had a look about the net but nothing rock solid! Head units got aux in but rather just burn a cd atm. Any help appreciated. MP3/WMA ripping - Saraj - 28-03-2020 are you talking about the silent gaps between the tracks?? MP3/WMA ripping - jomo - 28-03-2020 Yes like MOS or Cream, dont mind if its one huge file as long as its gap-less! MP3/WMA ripping - jay_russell - 28-03-2020 try ez cd extractor or nero i use the first for most things and find it very good MP3/WMA ripping - Saraj - 28-03-2020 Problem with what you asking is that many tracks these days have a silence at the end of the mp3 file and at the start. only way i can think, would be a sound editing software, adding all the mp3s into one file, cut out the silences and rip as one mp3. Sony Soundforge is good, but rather expensive, unless you can get it other means??!! MP3/WMA ripping - parthiban - 28-03-2020 If there are no gaps on the CD then there shouldn't be any gaps created when you rip them? Is the ripping software you're using sticking gaps after the MP3s? MP3/WMA ripping - jay_russell - 28-03-2020 ez cd allows you to remove any gaps in cd's and ripping is easy MP3/WMA ripping - el_gencer - 28-03-2020 i use exact audio copy. http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/ it supports gapless, but isn't that user friendly if you're not computer literate. the web site forums are good for support. MP3/WMA ripping - jomo - 28-03-2020 Ok think iv got it sorted now, i found Blaze Media Pro which has a joiner built in so i'v ripped them to my pc and made 1 large mp3! Thanks for helping guys. MP3/WMA ripping - toxo - 29-03-2020 Yeah the issue is not going to be the MP3 files having silence in them, it will be the time the head unit takes to change from one file to the next. Only solution is (as jomo has found) to have the entire CD as one MP3 file. |
