Hi guys,
I have noticed this quite a few times, but each time thought it was the tricky sun light causing it.
But it was pretty cold and dull today when i washed the car and still i see a difference.
but do you?
And if you do, is this normal? I wouldnt have thought so!

are they different materials ? paint does look different on different surfaces.. between the fibreglass, plastic and metal i had at least three different visions on my supra especially noticeable when it was orange

Yeah paint can look different on bumpers mainly Down to bumpers being made and painted at a different time to the car shell we do it at landrover the bumpers come in painted and then the shell gets painted after pretty sure most other companies do the same that's why when you see some cars like red corsas that are faded the bumpers tend to be ok and not faded bit of useless info for you lol

Mines really bad the front bumper on my is300 is completely different In the sunlight its so annoying

I think the lighter or brighter the colour the more noticeable it is, spend a bit of time studying colour coded cars in a car park to compare

Its because they are 2 diffeent materials as said above, Its very noticable on vauxhalls especially new vectras. Have a look next time you see one.
