I'm looking for an answer to the question above.
Louise's timing belt has lost some teeth and is stuffed. So needing to know if the valves are going to be bent or not.

No the car dose not run now and don't want to try and turn it over. She said there was no noise when it died doing about 60mph.

Hmm, well you've 2 options,
New belt on and try it, or take the head off and check it

Yes i know that Stav, but some engines are known to be ok after timing belt stuffed and some not. When you try and turn it over it won't start. If the engine is ****** then it will be getting scrapped.

1.6VTS is an interference design. Not sure on the other engines - however French cars are not usually non interference types unfortunately.

Well Moley this opens up a whole new world of possibilities why not chuck the C2 engin and drop a 4age 20valve into it or something like it there must be something out there that can be dropped in to the C2, unless its not your cup of tea
