IS200 EFI fuse problem - Reinbou - 21-10-2021 Few hours ago my car died out while driving. I tried to start and startermotor runs normally but the car wont start. Next I checked fuses and found that EFI fuse was burned. I put a spare fuse to the socket but it burned instantly when I turned engine electricity on. To make sure I repeated it with new fuse but burned again. Everything else with quick check looks fine to me. No broken wiring or anything. Only thing was the missing droning sound from petrolpump. Anyone who could know anything about this?? Only thing what came to my mind is that petrolpump is somehow broken or jammed and short circuiting ... Wiser opinions? ![]() Thanks! IS200 EFI fuse problem - Sparkystav - 21-10-2021 Could be the pump shorted, or the EFI relay broken, you'd need to poke about with a meter to find out IS200 EFI fuse problem - Reinbou - 22-10-2021 Yes. After gym I have to go and tear down rear seat and unplug fuelpump. I also found something written about EFI relay problems. Hope that it won't pop fuses after unplugging fuelpump. It needs to be replaced anyway because I'm working alongside with boostingproject. Hoping that someone could conjure me new stonger conrods
IS200 EFI fuse problem - Reinbou - 22-10-2021 Problem solved. Pump shorted. After unplugging pumps connector fuse didn't pop. Also put cables straight to pins from other battery and nothing happen. Now searcing new more powerfull pump. Are there something I should know when installing different kind?? Or should they work straight? IS200 EFI fuse problem - john wan - 22-10-2021 They will work straight away might just need to fit the plug off the old one onto the new should come with instructions on how mine did IS200 EFI fuse problem - Sparkystav - 22-10-2021 Think its a gss342 you need from walbro for a more powerful one IS200 EFI fuse problem - john wan - 22-10-2021 The right one is in my build thread matey IS200 EFI fuse problem - Reinbou - 03-11-2021 Pump wasn't shorted after all. Relay is also fine. It was faulty lambdawires that sometimes shorted cause exhaustpipe vibrating. Too many contacts with the ground cause low car and Japspeed catbacks improperly installed lambdasensor hole! Have to someday change sensorhole position when I have time. But new walbro 255 works fine Little wrestling with installation cause it bigger pump but now its fitting okay. Now my car doesn't rev correctly to redline cause 310cc nozzles and no back lambda but those can be fixed in no time.

IS200 EFI fuse problem - john wan - 03-11-2021 So what your saying is the lambda was moving about slightly in its hole an causing the lambda to not be grounded propperly? I pulled the signal wire out of bank2 and the cars not stutterd or run lean all week but ive had p0125 code pop up |
