standalone ecu. omex 600? - Tosh21 - 01-07-2022 So I've decided that a turbo isn't going to be enough on my altezza and bought some itbs. However the power fc can't run that (tbh I'm not very impressed with the power fc for that price) I don't want a link g4 as they cost a fortune, same with haltec and motec. I was lookingat megasquirt but I don't think it will be very good for vvti. Looked at omex 600 too as it has a vvti feature. I'd like the omex as its about 500 quid which isn't too bad. Anyone have any experience? standalone ecu. omex 600? - el_bandido - 02-07-2022 Find a tuner you are happy with, then buy an ECU they are familiar with. standalone ecu. omex 600? - piman2k - 07-05-2023 Absolutely as above, I would say exactly the same. It's much better to have an excellent mapper and an average ECU than an average mapper and an excellent ECU. That being said, and only my experience, Omex is not as widely supported as it used to be. The G4 is a lot but it's very very good so if you can stretch, do it. standalone ecu. omex 600? - Sparkystav - 10-05-2023 I've just updated the firmware on my G4 (after about 5 years) and there's even more options available! standalone ecu. omex 600? - Tosh21 - 30-05-2023 ive gone power fc, not that it works atm which is great... would like a g4 though, in future for big power etc i probably will go g4 or maybe even motec for ultimate hardcore tuning |
