The real question is the cost to do that though, e.g. the cost to power whatever is doing that blasting. Have batteries that recharge off the engine and braking a la normal hybrids, which power effectively an electric turbo which fires air into the engine? Obviously there isn't really an economy angle so unlikely anyone would take it up, but there have to be performance gains to be had by such an arrangement?
