Personally I agree with it and I may be biased as I have a car I've put a lot of work into and a lot of individual small touches, but what do other members think?

Nah, what I meant was when I was that age, we'd have a £250 shitbox and spend all winter trying to eek a few more horses out of it using what was left of our meager wages after chasing girls and getting drunk.
God help us if we could have walked into a bank and come out with thousands of pounds...

I definitely agree with that article. I've been to far too many car meets that have been shut down because some k**b with a strait through exhaust and a need to make ears bleed with subs wants to show off. Don't get me wrong I love a loud car and loud music but some people have no respect at what's supposed to be a chill meet.

The one thing that I can't stand though is when I hear the phrase 'because race car'. No, just no. Ripping your interior out, straight piping, slamming and redlining your car does not make it a race car. There's always one though isn't there.
