Recommendation for Sat Nav - Saraj - 16-09-2017

I need a sat nav, was looking at a cheap and cheerful one, but then thought ill get on with bluetooth built in for hands free.

I like this in halford at a good price, what you reckon?

actually just noticed you cannot buy it at the moment

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_272613_langId_-1_categoryId_165685cm_cr=No+Campaign-_-Web+Activity-_-01-XMAS09-SATNAV-M-2-_-PRODCAT_ESPOTMAIN_165508-_-01-XMAS09-SATNAV-M-2#dtab

theres a few on ebay going cheap, any recomendations?

Can't go wrong with the TomToms and the bluetooth works well, I especially like the function that reads out your text messages - it's useful as well as incredibly amusing Smile

Saraj thanks ! do you have this version?

Nope I've got the older generation version, it's the TomTom Go 910 (replaced now by the 920). The newer ones have got lots of new kit I believe so should be pretty nice.

Also worth looking at the TomTom One - slightly less feature packed, but have a nice portable size.

Have heard the Garmins are good too, but don't have any experience of them.

Tom Tom even knows the roads up with me and I have used it for going to Manchester and to the two JAE trips and it has never went wrong. :thumbup1:

The good thing about the 9xx series is that they have US maps onboard as well, which is the main reason we have ours Smile
