Toyota's Out - parthiban - 23-09-2017 So Toyota's pulled out of F1 too (I don't get how it was pretty much only a few days ago they were trying to get Kimi Raikkonen and now they're out of the sport) but it's sad to see another manufacturer leave. Although this will allow Sauber to return, and I guess Toyota never really wowed anyone the way they should have done given their budget. Hmmm, maybe Brawn should buy this team too and win next year's championship with them  Toyota's Out - steviewevie - 23-09-2017 Blimey, pretty suprising considering how they had already signed up to the new Concorde agreement, signed Kubica etc. As you say, this will let Sauber back in now. Surely someone will buy Toyota's F1 operation though ? Toyota's Out - parthiban - 23-09-2017 I don't think they can can they? Isn't Toyota's F1 operation effectively TTE so still wholly part of Toyota? Not really sure though - if that were to happen would Sauber still be out then? Toyota's Out - steviewevie - 23-09-2017 Hmm, good point. Toyota's Out - Chris - 23-09-2017 i think they should get back into rallying where they were always successful Toyota's Out - FirebirdPhil - 24-09-2017 I think they should spend the money on re-designing a worthy MR2 replacement. The Supra has a replacement now we need a new 2 seater. Toyota's Out - parthiban - 24-09-2017 2tongues I think they should spend the money on re-designing a worthy MR2 replacement. The Supra has a replacement now we need a new 2 seater. Good idea, I'd also like to see an SC replacement (to rival the SL) that I could aspire to owning one day...... |
