Dan @(Adrian Flux) has been kind enough to list the different categorys Please remember that some of the vehicles that have been written off will have a premium when re insured. Dan list the following: Below are some definitions for you. With regards to ours insurers they all vary as to which ones they cover and what terms they impose but we do have a large number of Insurers that will do Category C and D write offs. Category A - A vehicle which should have been totally crushed, including all its spare parts. Category B - A vehicle from which spare parts may be salvaged, but the bodyshell should have been crushed and the car should never return to the road. Category C - An extensively damaged vehicle which the insurer has decided not to repair, but which could be repaired and returned to the road. Category D - A damaged vehicle which the insurer has decided not to repair, but which could be repaired and returned to the road. __________________ http://www.adrianflux.co.uk http://www.influx.co.uk |
