Hi guys,
Noticed this over the past few weeks, during the night my freeview box spontaneously switches itself on and goes to channel 19, now I know i put it on standby before I go to sleep and i've tried it where it's not been on 19 aswell yet when I wake up in the morning it's always on.
I've checked that there is no schedule/alarm set for it, it's not really a problems just something strange, any ideas?

serious it feels that way lol, ive reset/left it off for a day at the wall and everytime it does the same thing it's a weird poltergeist

Dan i know you going to laugh but could a neighbours tv controller be doing this when they turn their on or change channels?

i suppose it's always a possibility however i would see it as highly unlikely as mine is always on the same channel and sometimes when i wake up in the middle of the night at say 3-5am it's switched on
but I might not have gone to sleep till around 12-1am so.

Thers one way to check. Leave it switched off at the plug overnight and see if its on in the morning, if so you have ghostly problems
.I dont know why it would do this? Maybe a faulty remote controller or something, or a faulty box?

possible but some times it's been happening with no remote anywhere near because i thought to cancel this out aswell, you guys getting me worried about ghostly goings on
