Need a new drill - SHAHZ - 17-12-2017 As the title says really, mine blew up a while ago......anyone got any recomendations ......seen this, apparently its made by makita so should be decent http://www.screwfix.com/prods/59749/Power-Tools/Cordless-Drills/Site-SMB810-18V-Cordless-Combi-Drill# Need a new drill - Rabster - 17-12-2017 I have a Makita Last years model came with 3 bats charger and is still going strong after many days installing and drilling into various walls i would go for a makita i have similar to this one http://www.screwfix.com/prods/84044/Power-Tools/Cordless-Drills/Makita-8391DWPE-18V-Combi-Drill Need a new drill - SHAHZ - 17-12-2017 Im looking at the one that is made by makita rather than the makita itself...didnt spot that...looks good, cheers Rab
Need a new drill - Bandit - 17-12-2017 Out of the 2 i'd go for the one Rabs posted up, had Makita drills and other makita tools for years and have never let us down, :thumbup1: Need a new drill - Rabster - 17-12-2017 sometimes when you go into the stores they ahve a better offer on teh counter, i know when i was in there the other week i went to buy a makita for work and walked out with a dewalt at a cheaper price so was happy with that lol Need a new drill - SHAHZ - 17-12-2017 Yeah gonna pop in store to get it anyway so will check out if they have anything else on offer, cheers  Need a new drill - FirebirdPhil - 17-12-2017 You do get what you pay for, but if it is just for light DIY the £99 one would be adequate. Need a new drill - parthiban - 17-12-2017 Yep I recently replaced a black & decker one with a dewalt and the difference is unbelievable - got it for a bargain at B&Q a few months ago, worth popping into the different DIY stores as they often have promotions for the top end stuff.
