Last Friday Sara and I went to the zoo. Giraffes, rhinos and tigers are interesting animals so who doesn't want to see them? Apparently no one except all 7 year old children and us :biggrin:

Anyway.. of course we brought our cameras with us and here's a selection of the pictures I took.

DaveEdin Excellent pics as usual Patrik... what camera equipment do you use?

Thanks mate :biggrin: I used my Nikon D80 with the Nikkor 35mm f/1,8 and the Nikkor 55-200mm f/4,0-5,6 VR lenses. For some pictures I also used a Nikon SpeedLight SB-400 flash.

I believe that's called depth of field in English. Large aperture results in shallow depth of field. If you're close to the object it's more noticeable. Here's an example:
