I'm more inclined to think the demise of the Type R is likely to drop them into your price range....
New reg always affects the used prices, but more so on the main dealers than independents, as they're the ones who need to offload the older models to make way for the new ones.. not sure how that affects your planning?

What reg are you looking at? I'm sure the arrival of the '60' plate will affect the value of '10' plates, but not too sure about how much of an effect it will have on cars older than that.

Lol of course i wouldnt,
clutch would be upgraded along with a remap anywho
not seen the leeking rear window issue yet, and have thoroughly researched the civinfo site,
ones that seem to crop up on the diesels
clutch
mist in headlights
oil usage as no oil low indicator
occasional dash rattles
but no more than ive seen on other marques of car
