Retro Toyota Meet @ Ace Cafe, Apr 2011 - toxo - 13-03-2019 Went to this meet, organised by the ae86 owners. The brief was any Toyota you like, as long as it was built prior to 1990. Obviously that counts me out but there were a few exceptions made A Toyota Crown, MK2 Celica and a 340bhp HKS AE86! HKS AE86 enginebay: Some more shots of the Crown and MK2 Celica GT, which were both owned by a husband and wife, and covered in trophys for cleanest show car, best example in show, etc etc. My friend's new Trueno Wiiiiiide arches The yellow thing in these pics is an original Starlet, RWD! Never seen one before. Terribly old Corolla (1970s?) with a black top BEAMS conversion: One of the few non panda 86s at the show: Retro Toyota Meet @ Ace Cafe, Apr 2011 - toxo - 13-03-2019 Red car had done 33,000KMs from new... This car was gorgeous! 20V 4A-GE in it Like I said, a few exceptions were made This Thunderbird turned up later on in the day... The yellow thing as you call it, my wife had one excatly the same as that back in the 80s, she loved it. It was Yellow with a brown interior. We used to call it banana split after the sweets but I don't suppose there's many on here that will remember those sweets. She had another one after that too but in blue. Those Starlets where probably what started us on our life of Toyota cars.
