Gtechniq P1 polish/swirl remover - karlp - 26-03-2019 Has anybody used the above by hand and what are the finishes like?? Gtechniq P1 polish/swirl remover - E55EX_RACER - 10-04-2019 It's a very good polish, water based and contains no abrasives, the level of cut is dependent on the pad used. It doesn't leave a finish, it removes scratches, swirls and oxidation so you need to finish with a wax or sealant. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_u-QTCbOUW4 Gtechniq P1 polish/swirl remover - speedfreek - 06-06-2019 I have some and it is excellent. However my Lexus has really hard paint so I would have had a million times better results using a machine. Gtechniq P1 polish/swirl remover - Lexusboy - 06-06-2019 Speedfreek sorry bud but your find Lexus paint to be very soft, unless its been resprayed Gtechniq P1 polish/swirl remover - speedfreek - 06-06-2019 In that case, p1 is rubbish lol. I was rubbing like a goodun and it got a lot out but still left a few feint scratches. Still think the true test is on a machine though
Gtechniq P1 polish/swirl remover - E55EX_RACER - 07-06-2019 Most Jap paints are soft. It doesn't matter what polish you use if applying by hand it's going to be VERY hard work. So much easier with DA/Rotary
Gtechniq P1 polish/swirl remover - Tomo1978 - 18-02-2020 I use GTechnique & it's brilliant, if your careful & not using wool you can actually get away with not doing a second stage polish to get rid of marring saving time. I was using Menzerna polishes on my IS220d but Gtechnique is my new weapon of choice. I've even just bought the glass polish & sealant to try so I'll let you all know results when done. |
