Does this look like a Lexus / Toyota Part No? - jimxms - 17-05-2019 sp-42201-04bk Should hopefully be for a dark pearl IS300 emblem, but I dont know if that's a proper part number or something else. Does this look like a Lexus / Toyota Part No? - parthiban - 17-05-2019 Not really sure to be honest, all the part numbers I've come across in the past have been 5 digits, a dash and then another 5 digits (xxxxx-xxxxx) but that doesn't necessarily mean this one isn't right (suppose Ormi is the one who'll know the answer to this) Are they the dark badges off the IS300 Sportdesign then? Does this look like a Lexus / Toyota Part No? - jimxms - 17-05-2019 Indeedy. It seems on eBay you can only pick up a full set which includes the L and Lexus badges for front and back. All I want is a single IS300 badge...and I'm toying with the idea of a TTE Compressor badge below it (even tho that's a small lie). Or I might just get another TRD badge to replace my one thats hanging off. Does this look like a Lexus / Toyota Part No? - parthiban - 17-05-2019 Cool, I've always quite liked it when people stick the Merc "Kompressor" badge on the front wings but I may be in a small minority of people who like that
Does this look like a Lexus / Toyota Part No? - jimxms - 17-05-2019 Yeah I've been looking at alternative supercharged / compressor emblems in case I cant get the TTE one (as I've no idea how rare it is?). Shame the Merc one is Kompressor with a K really Does this look like a Lexus / Toyota Part No? - DaveEdin - 17-05-2019 Might be cos the German word for "supercharger" is "Kompressor" though :lol:Wonder what it would look like in Japanese though - Get it translated into a set of kanji symbols. Unique, but still in keeping with the idea... Does this look like a Lexus / Toyota Part No? - jimxms - 17-05-2019 DaveEdin Ah I always assumed that it was just a joining of Kraut and Compressor :Fish: DaveEdin Wonder what it would look like in Japanese though - Get it translated into a set of kanji symbols. Unique, but still in keeping with the idea... I did look into that a while back as it goes, but I dont think there was any direct translation. Or it would translate one way and if you translated it back it meant "salad spinner" or something like that Does this look like a Lexus / Toyota Part No? - Stoney - 17-05-2019 I had a Kompressor badge. ![]() But I bought a TTE one to replace it with, and never got round to doing it. (BAD photoshopping from years ago!) ![]() It was to match the TTE badge up front. ![]() These "dark pearl" emblems you mention. Do you have a pic? If you just want the IS300 one I might be interested in splitting the set with you and taking the others? MIGHT BE, that is. (My next Lex is black.) I'm trying to find a good pic of the dark chrome ones, but basically they are the same kind of dark chrome as the later stye head/tail lights. Its not black, just a really dark and shiny chrome. Does this look like a Lexus / Toyota Part No? - DaveEdin - 17-05-2019 You meaning like the ones Keith applied to his IS250? In here |
