Random question but driving out to Somerset tomorrow morning, any decent services on the way down the M4 that might be good to stop for some breakfast? :biggrin:

Well, there's Reading Services between J11 and J12, Chieveley at J13, Membury between J14 and J15 and Leigh Delamare between J17 and J18. I haven't tried breakfast at any of them. Though Reading is quite a modern (relatively recently built) service area, don't know if that reflects on the quality of the food or not.

From what I can remember Leigh Delamere does good food in one of the cafe's although it'll be the last one before M5 so you may be hungry by then

I was thinking that one would make the most sense as it's the last one before I get off the motorway.........

could be perfect then really, otherwise you could try Gordano Services at J19 M5.I have heard of chilcompton so fingers crossed your satnav will of too,
