Windscreen - Lexuspat - 12-10-2019 I used to be a windscreen fitter and never heard that term before. Windscreen - FirebirdPhil - 12-10-2019 I found it on a Jaguar specialist site in the USA - could be yank terminology? Windscreen - Lexuspat - 12-10-2019 I just found a pick of the stuff, its a foam type strip that we used to use for inside the bond to stop headlining touching and to make sure the screen didn't go to low againts the body. Also used it to redirect water under a scuttle plate of the old Ford Focus to stop water getting into the cabin filter and pooling on the passanger footwell. Hope that helps Windscreen - FirebirdPhil - 12-10-2019 Well if we didn't learn anything else today we learned this. Whats the chances this comes up in a pub quiz??? |
