Does the gear indicator on the dash near speedo supposed to flash???
lcd version...only its very annoying. Its just the selected gear icon that flashes not the whole display.

Its in the auto mode it does it havent tried manual yet.

i would say it sounds more lamp fault maybe loose connection unless there is some kind of diagnostic sequence but im pretty sure there wont be.........

Manual mode works ok and the numbers dont flash, just the p r n d ect.

I'd be inclined to think it's a problem with the gearbox but there's nothing in the manual about it.
I'd get it checked out asap though in any case as you wouldn't want to do any serious damage to the box - at least phone your local dealer and see if there's an explanation for it.
