Standard BHP ??
Standard BHP ??
Thanks Steve ! I love the TTE bumper, just want to get it lowered now :thumbup1:
The Car was last serviced at the end of Jan this year. I have done about 11,500 miles this year, which is more than I have ever done, and the car is now reading 101,000 miles.
Like I said I’m not too worried about the figures, as the car still drives fine, and the engine sounds fine. The loss of power must be down to the car needing a service, which I will get around to some time soon.
I'd say do a service every 6K some people wait longer some less, as long as the cars running ok that's the main thing:biggrin:
mines on 129.5k, do you think mine would produce 153bhp? car was serviced in Aug 09
Probably not Kam they normally loose some power just due to the amount of miles covered.
I did say i'd suggest service every 6k but that's just a basic oil/filter(s) the plugs last longer than that but it's amazing what a difference abit of clean oil can make.
I wouldn’t be so sure on that.
My last car had 130k miles on the clock, and with an air filter, exhaust, and a service a month before the RR, it made 150Bhp, which was 13Bhp more than factory.
Kam, if you car is well looked after, then it should be fine :thumbup1:
thanks for the replies, guys.
remember when top gear bought the £10k supercars? they found that the cars had lost some bhp- so I'm kinda of guessing the same has probably happened to my car?
Looking after it is key but you would normally expect some reduction on BHP due to milage but as Davos said that's not always the case.
kam05 thanks for the replies, guys.
