The pads are supposed to be superb and really complement the caliper and make one hell of a fantastic braking system.

This info is Evo related but I'm sure this applies to your case too mate. The K-Sport kit is a very good upgrade for Evo owners who want to upgrade from the standard 4 pot Brembos to 8 pot brakes. They have very good reviews on MLR (Lancer Owners Club) BUT the key thing to remember is the standard K-sport pads are apparently very very poor. Basically the advice on the forum is get the K-sports and then get a set of CarboTech XP8 or XP10 Pads.
