Spacers - HELP
Hi people,
Need some help on what size spacers to get, the IS is lowered on coils, but the wheels look tucked in at the back, so i want to get them to fit in line with the rear arch, i will be rolling the arches anyway and lowering the car a bit more.
My current setup is Inovit ST6 alloys 18x7.5, with 40 offset all round (me thinks) so what size spacers should i get??
I have seen some H&R-Hubcentric spacers 20mm though, (had a word with Simon at Charlesworth motors he says 15mm would be better)
what would i need?? 20mm or 15mm at the rear? and 10mm at the front??
help appreciated
I have seen the offset guide, but am a bit clueless on it..
thanks in advance
Lexusboy From listening to Tony Bones (Wheels In Motion)the car will sit better with the smallest spacer that can be fitted the larger you go the more chance the car will not feel so sure footed...
Have you tried a 5 or 8 mm spacer yet?

thanks for the replies guys..
there are 2 types of spacers apparanetly you can get the spacers that will attach to the hub and will have the 5 lugs already on them, you just attach your existing nuts and wheels on to them, have seen H&R do them.
here is an example..

right i have been searching on the net, and don't ask me why i said 20mm.. that would be extreme...
Spoke to a couple of mod shops, i am going to go and measure up the gap from top of the tyre to the arch and see what size spacer is needed, and most chances are the 10mm at back n 5mm at front.
will keep you updated..
