dj0nes Not arguing with you at all on this mate as I know you're the man when it comes to all things Toyota/Lexusbut doesn't 40k seem a bit long to leave an air filter?
thats the service interval for most makes of cars on the air filter...tbh most 90% of filters are not that bad...after 40k

The first in Scotland and the other just down the road from where I live.
The first one quoted £468 excluding timing belt and tensioner, however to flush the engine and service the air-con the total came to...£557.95.
hock:The second dealership quoted me £326.95 for the service and extras mentioned earlier excluding timing belt and tensioner,which I don't require as they were both done at the last service.
I know this much. I won't be going to Edinburgh to get my car serviced. I was planning to do it next month when I was up the road visiting friends. Not now.
I emailed 2 Lexus dealerships last week about the cost of a 100k service.

Lexus in edinburgh are not cheap, but the toyota garages and their staff are better...
