Re-placeing rotten bolts.

A year or so ago i replaced the rusty and rotten bolts that were in the engine bay with dome allen key style s/steel bolts but the washes just never looked as good the bolts, so i popped down to a local fasteners to see what they had in the way of better washes, but was really looking to get countersunk blots and washes, but the ones i found on the net/ebay were £$£$£$ so resigned myself to just new washes.

the guy behind the counter was very helpful and after a few mins of talking to him and letting him what i would really like he started pulling boxes off shelves for me to look through to see if they had anything that would do the job, and this it what i came away with.

Not the best photos (iphone!) but you can see the old dome ones still fitted as i only got 6 bolts and washes just to see what they looked like fitted, but after fitting i went straight back there and got 30 more of each , 20-M6x20, and 10-M6x30, all s/steel so they wont rust :thumbup1::thumbup1:.

Ill post more pic's when i'v re-placed the rest.

Good job. Engine bay dress up is something I will get to at a later date! But they do look pretty smart.

ad: It was a tough call to make, but the Supercharged IS200 is being retired. Confused

They're washers btw. Thought you'd spelt it wrong until you repeated it a few times.

IS 200 Sport with a few mods, Standardish IS-F. The IS250 SE-L with a few mods has gone to a new home.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
