Did a quick photoshop with a caterham nosecone on the front. Not too sure what i think about it but might try and find a cheap nosecone i can experiment with, and cut up Smile

I think all cars are designed around a face to be fair.
The problem is your limited on how to do this with the design of the buggy

I think the nosecone looks a bit too generic. After all the effort you've been to, I think it would look better if you had something a bit more unique/special ? Though of course I understand that needs more effort itself and might be unfeasible/too expensive.

Hmmm.

Im in 2 minds here, i could get a generic caterham style nosecone and modify to suit or make something from scratch. Im happy to do either to be honest. Like you have said Steve i have put sooooo much effort in to this thing that i don't want to just cut corner towards the end.

I have another design in my head that i may try and put down on paper today and knock up a quick photoshop of. I think you will probably like this version as it will be more 'EVIL' looking. and if i bring it down at the front more it means i have the option to add a front diffuser. Big Grin

*** mini update ***

Well got up to TGT on the weekend and spoke to James about a few things. As i have my operation date now i have ok'd the next lot of work to be done on the buggy as i have a bit more cash to spend on it now.

I got the radiator and the twin fans on the car, actually helps visualise how the front will look better.

I Have an idea in my head of how i want the front to look now. Large centre intake with an adjustable front diffuser. Did a quick photoshop (and i mean quick) and here is how it came out, second one is probably the best version. Still needs a bit of work but you get the general idea. If anyone wants to have a go themselves then by all means have a go. Big Grin

Hmm, not sure Jason, to me it looks a bit wannabe-F1, which jars with the rest of the body. It's up to you of course, it doesn't matter whatever we think, as long as you like it yourself !

To me its not really about looks but function. I need to duct air to the front mounted radiator and get some much needed front downforce! Will have to mock something up on the buggy me thinks......

ok, but why do you need to duct air to the radiator ? It's mounted right at the front so will get all the fresh air it wants, surely ?
