17-12-2024, 04:15 PM #164Faz sorted me out with another charger, tbh I wish I'd invested all the money I've spent on this charger conversion and gone turbo instead!:Sulk: Been nout but hassle, now at highs speeds I'm getting fuel cut and its diving into limp mode, and today the electro clutch disengages when the engine gets warm! Luckily I've got a spare electro magnet. :cursing:
Until it sucked in all the swarf, the only issue I had was shredding the belt, but that was more than likely down to the tensioner being wrong. It looked a lot better for the 30 seconds it ran with proper tensioner placement before it seized up.
I already know it ain't gonna be enough power and I have no intention of going down the bigger pulley, ecu, injectors etc route. Just ain't worth the money imo. Maybe one day when I've robbed a bank I'll go down the 1J road, but I'm more likely to just buy a car with a decent engine out the box.
