The stage 2 uprated clutch and stage 1 cover plate (bit with the springs!!)

They still do discount for LOC certain club gold members...

As for assisting with the charges, yes I will most certainly be going down this route, I just can't throw any more £'s at this car.

If thats what a stage 2 clutch is, then thats what's been put in!! I didn't look in the box when it arrived.

More power on the way so may as well future proof the car. The standard clutch is on the absolute limit at 300BHP, that with the heavy IS200 car uprating the clutch is a must really.

Clutch info link

Yeah, I was going by what it says on their website about the Stage 2, which is :

Quote:Ceramettalic 4 paddle driveplate with a heavy duty sprung centre hub.

Genuine Toyota release bearing.

This kit is one of the most amazing single plate clutches in the world today, It still provides a progressive engagement and it will still be friendly for road use, The ceramettalic drive plate keeps its friction properties to a much higher temperature than the organic material.
Impressive claims. Will be interesting to hear your feedback on it.

2tongues so far this has cost £600, including all parts, the uprated clutch from Fensport was £300, and the fitting £300. Due to the other damage it now has to go to TGT for further repair, it's not drivable so thats a tow charge also.

The AA refuse to tow it to TGT, because it is already at a garage, therefore they don't have to move it. I hate small print. I think I will hire a car with a tow bar and hire a car trailer, probably cheaper than towing it.

push it down the road then you are not in a garage....lol:lol::lol:

No news, getting mighty annoyed.

Had a quick chat on Monday but the car wasn't there at the time, since then no news or contact I have asked him to call me with an idea when it will be looked at so far no call back. I have had to shell out on a hire car so this "incident" has now cost in the region of 1K, and £200 per week for a hire car, maybe I should buy a 2nd car?

If this carries on I will have no option but to sell it, I need a car and just don't have any more money to throw at this project.
