Marsdendean Lol. Are they special clamps or just ones that can be used for anything?

You can get special tools designed to compress the springs. For an example, see this one from Machine Mart.

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !

Specially designed to compress the springs, I don't think it's worth my while buying some and then messing about myself doing it when I can just pay a little extra and not have the hassle

40mm Lowering Springs, Re-sprayed Front, 6000K HID's, Re-furbed alloys, Bandit Induction Kit (cheers Chris), Raised boot spoiler with LED, Blue calipers with silver decals, De-badged rear, Chrome Oil Filler Cap (thanks to Chris again), White LED dash bulbs, Blue a/c control bulbs, Blue door markers and interior lights, Sony head unit, Chrome Lexus tax disc holder, TRD side skirts, Original Saloon Front Bumper re-fitted instead of Sportcross

They are dangerous also (spring compressors) if you are not very careful.

totally worn out and broken, shouting 'Holy ****, WHAT A RIDE!'"

I’ve only just seen this, but I’ve swear I remember reading somewhere that 50mm was too low for the IS.

At 50mm, the Geo will be really out, and can’t be recovered.

Anyone else heard this ?

This was mine, at 70mm rear and 50mm front, before the Geo was done by WIM, you can see how bad the rear camber is, when wim sorted it the wheels they were just off the arches and nice and straight, but were at there max adjustment on the rear? before it was lowered it looked higher than a lot of 4x4's
