Fry-Up 2 reasons, one being price, but the other being the I wouldn't get that feeling u get when u've finished doin a proper job of somethin, admiring your own handy work

It does feel good when you finshed cleaning it yourself!!

I did mine 2 years ago Blush with the UDM polisher & SFX 1, 2 & 3, would very much so recommend the equipment!......heres a few pics!.....see my paint does see the light of day every few years:Fish::laugh:

Heres what i did

1. Coz im lazy i got it washed at the local car wash
2. Clayed the entire car, should really be washed again, but i skiped this but gave it a quick spray/wipe with quick detailer
3. Did the 3 stages of the sonus SFX 1, 2 & 3
4. Didnt have any sealant at the time so didnt do that (is a must really after spending so much time on it)
5. Went to bed:tongue_smilie:....its hard work!

But worth it

Rory, you could always PM Christian (Invisible Touch Detailing)our resident detailer for any advice I am sure he would be happy to help. Or better still drive to him for a professional job

Got the week off so I plan to do the car, just need to spend some money on all the products, but I need a proper shopping list before I go out or i'll forget stuff, the car needs a service too so I wanna get it booked in this week, and if its back by weekend i'll spend a couple of days tidying up the paintwork Big Grin

recommendations on specific products would be good, wax, clay, polish

also, how much is a decent polisher thing??

This is what I would get, there is so much to choose from though and UF do free delivery if you spend over £29.95

Shampoo

Clay

DAS6, Pads and Polish

Wax

Detail Spray to top up wax - it's actually a sealant though
