I really want a 2000 or a 2001 - early so i can avoide the additional tax

If you are going to mod it, then I would get the Aristo - mine was pushing out almost 400bhp from basic breathing mods. The 4 speed auto can be a pain but it was not too bad.
If you are going to just drive it and enjoy it then I would go the the UK GS430 - cheaper insurance too.

Marsdendean The MK3 GS 430 has a semi auto gear box. Can select the gears if you want to.

MAYBE with the new 2010 430
