Shahz, if you were to get those, take them to A&S wheels on Chigwell road. They will be able to get them sorted no problem. A little bit of heat and they can be knocked back out

Yeah I thought they were bad until Tony showed me some other wheels they were also repairing, that looked horrendous! This sort of kink is quite easy to repair and the results are great - you really can't tell with mine both looking at the wheel and with the way the car feels.

Ahhhh thanks for that mate, have used them a few times for a punture repair on the rolla.....if i get them they will need a refurb at some point but might get them straightened out in the meantime:thumbup1:....whats the process used to do this, hammered with heat?

They will need refurbing, but if its only the back they can just slap some paint on after its repaired to stop it corroding. Yeah they will basically heat it and hammer it out. They might have a rolling machine, which will make an even better job. Ive seen some of the rims they have had repaired down there, much worse than your ones

Tony has a cold roller so can be done without needing a refurb but greater risk of cracking with this method - best to have them hot rolled and then fully refurbed.

Or buy a new wheel.

I would not drive a car with a repaired wheel like these.

See I thought that originally, Tony convinced me it would be fine - I've had the wheels on the car over a year now and not a single problem. It's all about the extent of the damage and how well the wheel is repaired Smile

And who does the fix.

It so easy to miss a hairline break in a alloy wheel so you really need to trust the person doing the repair.
