Lol, was quite a speculative test drive but I am interested, need to have a serious think as to whether I'd want to spend all this money on another saloon car or get something a bit nuttier

Jambo Not fancy a GS, not as quick as the IS-F, but will return better MPG, and more of a cruiser!!
Don't think I'm old enough for a GS just yet.........

Couldn't have that one, it was up at £56k
hock: (it's deliberately overpriced though as it's the MDs and he won't let it go until he can get another and apparently there's a 4 month waiting list)I'd be looking at something in the £30k range if I were to get one.........

Your description matches what I feel as well. It can be a reasonable saloon doing around 23mpg but in sport mode over 3.5K it is just a fabulous machine. Lexus did a great job with the sound and the gearbox
