Chri5 that looks a lot of effort just to change number plate bulbs.

get yourself a nissan lol

tools required phillips screwdriver.
umdo 4 screws (2 on each lense)
remove lense
remove bulb

refit bulb
refit lense
redo 4 screws (2 on each lense)

job done now sit back and admire your new bulbs lol

Seriously, when I first went to do it I thought it would be unscrew the lens pull out bulb and replace, I was like WTF all this to change 2 501 bulbs:Chair::laugh:

Wish i had read this before attempting this job this evening :crying:

I figured out to remove the boot lining and then to undo the 2 outer 8mm bolts, then i wiggled the bar and felt it was still taught in the middle, i did'nt think the central 2 8mm bolts would be part of it because they appeared to be holding the boot release mechanism to the boot skin.

So i pulled a little harder and heard "craaaaaaaack" :crying:

Yup my bar is now in 2 pieces.... Some super glue and tlc later and its looking ok, just not perfect if you know what i mean, what a silly ****** way of fitting number plate lights Toyota!

Rant over ............
