Moley, if im going to buy any car it will probably be a mx5. I just don't want to regret selling the lex, although its not going to get used anyway?????

My old car is still on my parent's drive, I got the Lexus last June, lol.
Also, if you're not using the Lexus, will you use an MX5??

Mods so far: S/Steel Dials, Blue LED's in dash/console, LED sidelights, Sport grill
If it's not going to get used, may as well sell, but it is such a difficult thing to do.

why can't u car share the Lex and sell the Yaris if the second car isn't gonna get much use?
fuel economy can't be that big a deal if you are gonna tie up a couple of grand on a second car for fun that won't get used as much

The reason im thinking of selling the lexus is because its my car, the yaris is sarah's car and we plan on using that for getting to/from work as it uses such a little amount of fuel. Been thinking of selling mine for a while now and this would be the perfect time as we can cope with one car. The reason im thinking of buying the second car is because we still need a second car for evenings/weekends when we both do our own things.

The mx5 is a very different car to the lex. You wont have the comfort and luxury feel the lex has, but it will be much more fun to drive. The thing is if you decide you dont get on with the mx5, there is nothing stopping you going back to the lex. If you play it right you will get more for the lex than you will pay for an mx5, so you will bve quids in.
As you said the lex is only your second car. Have a play with something different. You can go back to a lex at any time if ever you feel like your missing it
There is no real need for a big car like the lex. The yaris is perfectly capable of carting you and sarah to and from work. If its just going to sit there whats the point in keeping it?

I used the yaris on friday to pick up my bro's mr2 bootlid and rear wing as it wouldn't actually fit in the lexus!!!! Yaris is awsome for space because the seats all fold forwards.
