stav dont do avon they are ****, bridgestone RE050 running on the aristo and had on the is, come on red cars with horses on em and lambos etc.

B15RUP I have the Falken Fk452 on the front, for the price they're not bad.
This! I struggle to make mine lose grip in the dry, and when driving sensibly in the wet they are great. Obviously if I try and drive like I'm in a hot hatch then I can make it let go in the wet but you know when that's gonna happen. I've had them on my MR2 for the last 3 years and it's a daily driver so it gets used in ice, snow, etc over winter.
I find the T1R is as grippy (maybe a bit more) but as mentioned above they're softer, so there's a lot more sidewall flex, which I don't personally like as it makes me think the back is unsettled when it's not, if you see what I mean.
My experience will be very different to yours though, the weight distribution is very different in the Lexus to the MR2 (which is nearly 50/50) so I'd have thought it'd be easier to get the back end to shift in nasty conditions.
