Don't mean to hijack the thread (but didn't see the point in starting a new one and it's kind of on topic!) Do any of you guys know... If a coilover kit (Tein specifically) need a service, is that something that can be done by the enthusiastic DIYer or is it a pro job needed special tools?

I need to remove, clean and throughout inspect them first, but I thought they might benefit from a rebuild after being disused for 18 months?

I have been in an Evo with BC Coilovers and the ride I thought was pretty good. There have been a few mixed reviews on the Evo club however which put me off:

Personally for a similar price range I would consider then HSD Coilovers - they seem very good.
Still for the price you probably won't go wrong!
