I,v removed "safety" torx screws out of PS3's xbox 360 controllers before with just a small flat headed screw driver, find one thats the right size to cross over from one side to other side, hard to put in text but its like puting a scre3w driver at the 2pm and 10pm positions of a clock, not straight across but just round the middle nipple in the middle!
Did a bad photo but hope you get the idea!

ormi Won't work on the ecu ones mate...far too tight...

I tried the method above and you just can't get enough grunt behind them to break them loose when using a flat head screwdriver that way
I'll whip the dremel out when I get home tonight and see how it goes. Hopefully they'll come out nicely and I can just replace them with some socket cap screws. Failing that the next tool in my arsenal will be

Once you cut a slot just reuse them...thats what I done..
