Rabster go for a Relay board for the computer mate have it running via the pc you can switch many items then....
Oh you're a bad man! Very tempting. Though in this case the location of the switch is very close to its intended function, so I think a relay board might be a tad ott :p

Relay 2 Under Car cathodes
Relay 3 Cameras
Relay 4 pace car strobes
relay 5 Ejector seat
Relay 6 Missile Launcher
Relay 7 Electric Door Handles
Relay 8 Number Plate rotation
alternatively you could wire the relay board in to control heated seats traction control and snow button....
