i cant find an apexi filter with a 73mm flange, only 3" flange, and i cant find a silicon reducer to fit 3". help?

Why 73mm? The flange that came with mine was 76mm which is basically exactly the same as 3"

Ah right sorry I misread. So one with a 3" is alright? Still stuggling to find a reducer

Yes mate, 3" is 76.2mm. So you'll never notice the difference.
