posty Yes mate that is the kit, same one that I have.

Will take you a maximum of 10 minutes to fit!

Are 8000k white with a blue tint? like LED torches?

Please don't fit HID lights into non HID reflector housings. It makes you a massive wanker as the beam pattern is wrong and you blind everyone else coming towards you. If you want HID's either swap in some IS300 headlights or do a projector install.

No, people who blind me while I'm driving make it very easy.

I'm with Bandido on this one. HID kits in reflectors is a bad idea due to incorrect beam pattern and light bleeding above the cutoff point. On top of that most people go for 6000k which makes matters worse. I'm a massive fan of headlight modifications, done projector retrofits on all my cars and I'm sure that most people will prefer the light output and looks of a proper retrofit vs a nasty 6000k hid kit. I'm more than happy to help if someone wants to go that route. It's quite easy to do actually.

Im not starting an argument here, but if the beam patten is that bad how have I passed the last 2 MOT's with my 8k HID kit? I may be wrong but don't they check that?

I don't actually think aftermarket HID kits running in halogen housings are even legal for road use in the UK.

Links: http://www.phoenixautobulbs.co.uk/tp/hid...tion-2012/

see the FAQ on hids4u.co.uk http://www.hids4u.co.uk/faqs.html

also right at the bottom of hidsdirect.co.uk terms and conditions: http://www.hids-direct.co.uk/terms-conditions/

edit: I'm not trying to argue either, I just think that if you want HID's, you should do it properly.
